Irvin HS Homecoming Parade (Map) - 5 p.m

The parade will form up in the parking lot on the Sanders (same side as the gym) side of the school. It heads down Roanoke, to Joe Herrera, turns right and goes to Diana and then turns right and turns into Northpark Mall crosses over Wren and heads back to Sanders. People actually line up and clap and cheer so throwing candy to the kids is a fun thing to do if you are in the parade. Then the group will head to the stadium for the pep rally. The Principal will BBQ afterwards so all are invited to hang around and socialize with the team and whoever is there. The students love it and have a great time. The Child Development Lab with 3 and 4 year olds usually ride a float with the high school students who work with them. - Rodney Wiggs

Our Classmate Rodney Wiggs has two vehicles signed up for the parade. Any one wanting to ride along may do so, just show up and jump in.

(NOTE;
If any one wants to enter another vehicle in the parade they need to contact Sgt. Major Wright at Irvin soon to sign up and get instructions.)
Look forward to seeing you all,
Cindi Weick Class of '72
